Diet and Dining - Haemodialysis Holidays

Dining is one of the most talked about aspect of the cruise experience.  If you require a low sodium diet in most cases we can make the necessary arrangements onboard where the chef's will be happy to cater to your specific requirements.

Cruise ships offer an incredible choice of both formal and informal dining options created to satisfy even the most adventurous of tastes. Every type of menu and diet can be catered for including low fat, low cholesterol, vegetarian, ethnic and regional specialties, as well as more traditional cuisine. Knowledgeable wine waiters offering an extensive selection of wines to compliment any meal add to your dining experience.

Casual dining, self-selection and healthy alternatives are always available late into the night. If you choose to spend time in your cabin, room service is usually available 24 hours a day in many cases this extra service is included.

A Typical Day

Breakfast: Full breakfast in the main dining room, typically offering many different items. For a more casual meal you can serve yourself buffet style at an indoor or outdoor deck café.

Lunch: Formal lunch in the main dining room or alternatively buffet style at an informal café. Or why not try the pizzeria or the grill around the swimming pool where everything is cooked right in front of you.

Afternoon Tea: In the British tradition complete with finger sandwiches and cakes. This may be served on deck or in one of the main lounges.

Dinner: The main event of the evening in the formal dining room. Alternatively guests may prefer to dine in one of many informal restaurants/cafes on board.

Midnight Buffet: The most famous of all shipboard meals. They are grand spreads, often based around a different theme each night (seafood, Oriental, tropical fruit fantasy, chocoholic etc).
